Educator & Contributor Guidelines
PustakGuru empowers teachers, toppers, and serious aspirants to share high-grade UPSC Civil Services & State PCS study notes while earning a fair 70% revenue share. These guidelines ensure our library maintains world-class academic standards.
1. Quality & Content Standards
Materials submitted to PustakGuru undergo 3-tier moderation. To ensure rapid approval, your submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Syllabus Alignment: Content must directly correspond to UPSC Prelims (GS Paper I, CSAT), UPSC Mains (GS I–IV, Essay, Optionals), or specific State PCS syllabi (UPPCS, BPSC, MPPSC, RAS).
- High Resolution & Legibility: Scanned handwritten notes must be clear, well-lit, and legible. Crop unnecessary margins and ensure text is oriented right side up.
- Complete & Structured Decks: PDF decks with page numbers, clear headings, and topic indexes perform better and receive higher student helpful votes.
2. Strict Copyright Compliance
We enforce zero tolerance for copyright infringement.
- Do NOT upload scans of commercially published books, copyrighted coaching material, or paid test series.
- Handwritten original summaries, self-authored PYQ model answers, and original mind maps are fully welcomed.
- Every upload requires accepting the Legal Copyright Declaration. Violations result in account termination and earnings forfeiture.
3. Monetization & Revenue Share (70/30)
As a Contributor or Teacher, your approved study notes earn monthly revenue based on student engagement:
- 70% Net Payout: 70% of ad revenue generated from views, downloads, and helpful votes on your study materials goes directly to you.
- Transparent Metrics: Track your views, downloads, and estimated earnings in real-time on your Contributor Dashboard (`/dashboard/earnings`).
- Monthly Disbursements: Earnings are paid out automatically at the end of each month via UPI or Direct Bank Transfer once the minimum threshold is met.
4. Verification & Teacher Badges
Qualified educators, coaching faculty, and past exam rankers can apply for a **Verified Educator Badge** by filling out account details in their profile settings. Verified badges boost material visibility and student trust across the library.
