Welcome to PustakGuru. By accessing or participating in our study ecosystem, uploading educational notes, or participating in creator monetization, you explicitly agree to adhere to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptable Use & Account Governance
PustakGuru is dedicated solely to UPSC Civil Services (IAS/IPS/IFS) and State PCS exam preparation. Users may register as a Reader, Contributor, or Teacher.
- Public users are strictly prohibited from attempting to self-assign Admin privileges.
- You agree not to upload spam, commercial promotional materials, non-educational content, or corrupted files.
- Account credentials must be kept secure. Users are responsible for all actions taken under their login credentials.
2. Copyright Declaration & Originality Warranty
Respect for intellectual property is fundamental to PustakGuru. Whenever a Contributor or Teacher uploads study materials, handwritten notes, or PYQ solution decks, they must check and sign our Mandatory Copyright Declaration:
“I declare under penalty of platform ban that I own full copyright or possess express permission to distribute this study material. It does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, commercial textbook publishers, or coaching institute property.”
Copyright holders may file takedown notices at any time via our 🚨 Copyright Reports queue or by emailing copyright@pustakguru.in.
3. 70/30 Contributor Revenue Share Program
PustakGuru operates a transparent 70/30 creator revenue share model for verified Contributors and Teachers:
- 70% Creator Earnings: Verified contributors receive 70% of the net ad revenue and platform support pool generated by unique views, downloads, and helpful votes on their approved study materials.
- 30% Infrastructure Fee: PustakGuru retains 30% to cover server infrastructure, storage, bandwidth, and admin moderation costs.
- Payout Thresholds: Payouts are calculated monthly and disbursed directly to the contributor's verified UPI ID or Bank Account upon reaching the minimum payout threshold.
4. Moderation & Ban Policy
PustakGuru enforces a strict 3-Tier Moderation Protocol. Accounts found engaging in any of the following will be subject to immediate suspension or permanent ban:
- Uploading pirated textbooks, copyright-protected commercial notes, or unauthorized scans.
- Manipulating view counts, download counts, or automated script traffic.
- Impersonating educators, government officials, or PustakGuru moderators.
Banned users forfeit all pending or unpaid earnings derived from non-compliant uploads.
